Rela was founded by Rebekah Lloyd, a highly experienced expert and advisor in women’s health, who has worked with global healthcare and pharmaceutical brands for over a decade. After enduring a 10-year delay in the diagnosis of her own endometriosis, coupled with years of chronic pain, Rebekah recognized a significant gap in the commercialisation support available for women’s health and femtech solutions. Her personal journey, combined with her professional background, inspired her to create Rela with the mission of providing accessible, impactful expertise to drive positive change in the women’s health space.

These include involvement in the 2023/24 UK Government Women’s Health Inquiry, which contributed to important recommendations, and organizing the international Future of Women’s Health conference.
